Sichuan Longyin Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. This thousand-year-old temple has gone through vicissitudes of life and has extremely high historical value, artistic value and tourism value. The pine trees on the river are getting deeper and deeper, and the wind and rain all over the mountain are making dragons sing.
In the designer's description, Longyin Temple Hotel is a carrier that gives lost modern people a deep home in their hearts, allowing busy work, tense rhythm, and unchanging life to find an outlet to relieve their worries. Between the antique white walls and black tiles, the fireworks of the temple seem to stretch out, and a warm light shines in the dusk.
In this over 5,000 square meter plan, the designer chose a pure Chinese style and added the charm of wabi-sabi to recreate the leisurely oriental life experience. Most interiors adopt a symmetrical layout with an elegant style. In terms of indoor layout, line shape, color tone and the shape of furniture and furnishings, the characteristics of "form" and "spirit" of traditional decoration are absorbed.
Combined with the cultural foundation of the reconstruction of an ancient temple, this project incorporates elements of Zen Buddhism, such as moon gates, leaky windows, and stone pillars, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of this project. The beauty of the square and the circle creates a smart Zen feeling, and the beauty of the balance between the square and the circle is constructed.
The tranquility and elegance like Chinese ink painting, the artistic conception and feelings like poetry are like the gentle caress of warm wind, and the peace of mind is the meaning of Buddhism and Zen Buddhism. Looking up at the shape of the house, the roof is modeled after the top of Xieshan Mountain and modified with modern techniques, giving the space a more sublime meaning of the proud and majestic peaks.
In the use of materials, wood veneer and marble are the main ones. The combination of warm wood and cool marble brings a cool breeze with a woody fragrance.
In the design of the courtyard, decorative components are used to divide the space and pay attention to the coordination between the environment and the building. The corridors on both sides allow nature to flow in the space. Use wood and forest decoration methods, such as sculptures, furniture furnishings, potted plants and other artistic methods to create an outdoor wabi-sabi atmosphere.
Such a Chinese-style plan with both form and spirit was designed by Sun Xun, a designer with 16 years of design experience. He believes that "design requires inspiration and passion, both of which are indispensable." With the blessing of his design, no matter how ordinary a space is, it can show its personality and heritage. The Longyin Temple Hotel demonstrates his mastery of styles and elements, bringing vitality to the simple Zen atmosphere.
