In order to vigorously cultivate ceramic creative and design talents, based in the Central Plains, inherit and carry forward Chinese ceramic culture, deeply explore and interpret the historical context, cultural connotation and spiritual identity of Chinese ceramics, call the "Source of Ru Porcelain", and promote the national regional ceramic cultural industry Creative transformation, innovative development, and now a contemporary ceramic creative design exhibition is held nationwide.
The exhibition is co-sponsored by Henan Artists Association, Pingdingshan University, Propaganda Department of Pingdingshan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Pingdingshan City Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Pingdingshan City Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Henan Ceramics Institute/Pingdingshan University Ceramics School, Pingdingshan City Organized by the Cultural Art Center, Pingdingshan Art Museum, Pingdingshan Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. and Baofeng County Ruyao Porcelain Industry Protection and Development Service Center, 150 pieces (sets) of works are planned to be exhibited.
The scope of works that can be registered for the exhibition includes all categories of ceramic art such as utensils, decoration and painting, and environmental sculptures. The works are required to be created using contemporary language in terms of materials, shapes, decorations, firing, etc. and have both Innovative, non-productive handmade ceramic art works that are first-time entries, innovative in form, high in technology and in line with contemporary aesthetics.
This exhibition has several selection awards and excellence awards. The organizer negotiates with the winning authors for collection. Each selected author will receive ten albums, a collection certificate and a certain creation fee. The exhibition is open to ceramic inheritors, artists, designers and college students from all over the country. Each person can apply for a maximum of 3 pieces (sets) of entries. Registration can be done independently or organized by local ceramic associations, colleges, research institutes and other units.
